This program empowers youth (ages 10–30) to develop skills in digital media production, storytelling, and content creation. Participants learn to produce high-quality videos, podcasts, photography, and digital graphics, enabling them to share ideas, promote businesses, and engage communities through digital platforms.

Objectives

To teach youth the fundamentals of digital media production including video, audio, and graphic content.
To develop storytelling and creative skills that can be applied in marketing, social campaigns, and personal projects.

Key activities

Video Production

Basics of videography (camera use, framing, lighting)
Editing techniques using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or free alternatives
Storyboarding, scripting, and post-production workflows
Producing short films, tutorials, or promotional videos

Audio & Podcasting

Podcast production (planning, recording, editing)
Audio editing and sound design using tools like Audacity or Adobe Audition
Voiceover techniques and storytelling through audio

Photography & Graphic Design

Basics of photography (composition, lighting, editing)
Graphic design skills using Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator
Creating digital posters, social media visuals, and branding materials

Portfolio Development

Youth create real-world projects (videos, podcasts, photo campaigns)
Build a digital portfolio showcasing all media work
Annual showcase event or online gallery to present projects
